It's a common notion amongst christians that "The Law" or "The Torah" has been abolished, which rests mainly on the basis that christ said “Do not presume that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish, but to fulfill." Matthew 5:17 (NASB)
This word "Fulfill" is often cited as "nullufied" i.e: "Christ Fulfilled the law, so we dont have to" but this word "Fulfill" (Actually the greek plērōsai), can mean "To bring out somethings FULL MEANING", or "To fill" "to crown", to complete. "To bring out the true essence of something". Yeshua- Jesus Christ-Hamasciach is the full embodiement of The Torah, and shows the true essence, of what it's about in how he lived his life.
When pressed about what commandment is the most important, he states:
‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the great and foremost commandment. The second is like it, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ Upon these two commandments hang the whole Law and the Prophets.” (Matthew 22:37-40-NASB)
He also said "'for truly I say to you, until the heaven and the earth may pass away, one iota or one tittle may not pass away from the Law, until all may come to pass. 'Matthew 5:18-LSV.
There is a line from the book of Acts that states: 'For it seemed good to the Holy Spirit, and to us, to lay no more burden on you, except these necessary things: to abstain from things offered to idols, and blood, and a strangled thing, and whoredom; keeping yourselves from which, you will do well; be strong!” 'Acts 15:28-29
so there is some debate on the subject:
Perhaps the Torah is only for the Children of Israel as it was at first, only directed to them;
But there are also verses from The Epistles, talking about how The Gentiles have been "Grafted in" to Israel.
"The Torah" is near impossible to keep in a "Full" sense in our modern day (unless one is living in Israel) but I personally, as a Jewish Christian do my best to keep the Torah to the extent that I can;

That being said;
Christ did state: 'Therefore whoever may loose one of these commands—the least—and may teach men so, he will be called least in the kingdom of the heavens, but whoever may do and may teach [them], he will be called great in the kingdom of the heavens. ' (Matthew 5:19-LSV)
I personally believe that the weight of the evidence leans towards the Torah being an applicable and active thing today; but we must remember, that the most important thing, is to "Love the Lord our God with our hearts, minds and Souls, and to love our neighbours as our selves.",
This also doesn't seem to be a salvation issue.
This is a highly debated and complex issue, with people often Citing the Apostle Paul as saying that the law no longer applies, but there are also instances where he seems completely for the law:(see romans 3:31)
It must be noted that Christ seemed to take serious issue with the Pharisees (High priests of the day), doing "all of the things", but with none of the spirit:
' “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you tithe mint and dill and cumin, and have neglected the weightier provisions of the Law: justice and mercy and faithfulness; but these are the things you should have done without neglecting the others. You blind guides, who strain out a gnat and swallow a camel!
“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you clean the outside of the cup and of the dish, but inside they are full of robbery and self-indulgence. You blind Pharisee, first clean the inside of the cup and of the dish, so that the outside of it may also become clean. ' (Matthew 23:23-26)
so, it's not just about "Doing the things", but having your heart in the right place also;
There is a quote from the book of Malachi, which does seem to clear things up a little bit; God is speaking, and he says about the final days on earth: “Remember the Torah of Mosheh (Moses), My servant, which I commanded him in Horĕb for all Israel – laws and right-rulings."
this implies that the Torah is just for Israel;
But the question remains; what is Israel? Gods people?
Are "Christians" Israel?
Should Christians keep the Torah?
These are all questions one must answer for themselves,
